Experience
Tutoring is an incredible system which allows students to receive additional assisstance in any subject they choose. In my experience with tutoring (as the tutor and pupil), I have found an experience which is rewarding for both parties. I have tutored at an after school program in my local school district. The program was hosted by a local church. Throughout high school I also tutored middle school level math. Helping other students understand how to derive their own answers is SO important. I believe that each student is capable of learning, though their pace might vary from others. I learned this through my experience as I was a slow learner in middle school. However, through exemplary tutoring I was able to improve my learning ability. Also very important! Our first tutoring session is free. I don't want you to feel as though you've wasted your money to find out that I don't meet your needs or expectations. Relevant Classwork: I've completed math classes up through Calculus III and Differential Equations. I feel comfortable teaching Calculus II and below. Currently I am a Mechanical Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. I love what I do! I've worked on multiple aerospace projects involving F-18 fighter jets and military jet engines. I've gained a lot of experience in my job and I want to be able to help students understand Math even just a little better.

Hobbies
I've been married to my wife, Emily since June 2012. We currently live in Spencerport, NY. I really enjoy photography and music. I can play guitar and piano. Both self taught actually. I believe that discovering joy in an activity really increases your desire to participate in it. Helping a student realize that they have the ability to figure things out on their own is so important and I believe I can help them realize that through tutoring.
